How it works

Raises Max Magick and adds the same amount to the base damage of every Special. It is a direct, dependable upgrade that leaves the Staff's move set unchanged.

How to play it

Open from range with Special, pin enemies with Cast, then spend the larger Magick pool on Omega Attack for area control. Flat Special damage benefits greatly from rapid-fire and multi-hit Special upgrades.

How it works

Your Animal Familiar forms a Psychic Leash whenever you Cast. Enemies crossing the bond take repeated damage, turning familiar positioning into an extra zone-control tool.

How to play it

Place Casts so the line between Melinoë and the familiar cuts through a crowd or boss. Keep moving around the target to drag the leash across it, and favor Cast duration, size, and frequent repositioning.

How it works

Each Omega move leaves an echo that repeats in place up to three times. Using the same Omega move again replaces its existing echo, so placement matters more than constant recasting.

How to play it

Plant Omega Attack or Omega Cast where enemies must remain, then switch to other moves while the echo works. The Aspect is strongest against bosses, armor, and rooms where Cast can keep targets inside the repeated blasts.

How it works

Slain foes can rise as allied Lone Shades. Omega moves also charge faster and deal more damage, combining summons with a more aggressive Magick cycle.

How to play it

Use empowered Omega moves to secure kills early and build a Shade group. In boss fights, treat the scaling as a pure Omega upgrade: maintain Magick recovery and choose safe charge windows instead of waiting for summons.

How the weapon plays

The Staff is the most adaptable Nocturnal Arm. Its Attack controls a safe lane in front of Melinoë, while the Special reaches distant targets and applies on-hit Boons reliably. Use Cast to hold enemies in the Staff's ideal range, then choose whether your build spends Magick on repeated Omega moves or stays mobile with normal Attack and Special.
