Black Coat
A guarding battle suit with mighty melee Attacks and seeking Special rockets.
Nocturnal Arms
Weapon Aspects
01
Aspect of Melinoë
Rank bonuses Attack, Sprint, and movement speed I +0% · II +5% · III +10% · IV +15% · V +20%
How it works
Attack animations, Sprint, and normal movement all become faster. The whole weapon feels more responsive without changing its balanced move set.
How to play it
Use the speed to weave one Attack sequence between enemy telegraphs, then reposition while rockets seek targets. The universal mobility also makes close-range Boons safer to use.
02
Aspect of Selene
Rank bonuses Magick spent to ready Moonbeam I 100 · II 90 · III 80 · IV 70 · V 60
How it works
Begins with a unique Moonbeam Hex that strikes several foes and makes them vulnerable. Rank lowers how much Magick must be spent before the Hex is ready again.
How to play it
Spend Magick steadily with Omega moves instead of hoarding it, then cast Moonbeam before a major damage sequence so vulnerability amplifies the follow-up. Magick recovery directly improves Hex frequency.
03
Aspect of Nyx
Rank bonuses Nightspawn damage I 15% · II 30% · III 45% · IV 60% · V 75%
How it works
A special Sprint can create Nightspawn that repeat part of your offense for a percentage of its damage. Higher rank makes each shadow contribution much more meaningful.
How to play it
Activate the Sprint before a planned burst so Nightspawn copy valuable attacks rather than idle movement. Keep moving through safe lanes, and favor strong individual hits that remain worthwhile at the copied percentage.
04
Aspect of Shiva
Rank bonuses Maximum Destructive ranks I 2 · II 3 · III 4 · IV 5 · V 6
How it works
Absorbing your Omega Special blasts builds Destructive ranks that empower close-range offense. Rank raises the maximum number of stored stacks.
How to play it
Launch Omega Special where you can safely intercept its blast, build stacks before an elite, then cash them in during a close Attack sequence. Magick economy and defensive tools make stack preparation much safer.
How the weapon plays
The Black Coat combines melee pressure, guarding, mobility, and homing rockets. Attack when close, release Specials while repositioning, and use the guard to preserve an aggressive stance rather than retreating across the room. Its broad toolkit rewards alternating moves instead of repeating only one button.
